Molestation of Black Boys Seem to Be Common Now

In the past few weeks, there has crept onto the scene, a number of disturbing incidents involving high profile sports figures allegedly molesting black boys.


One of the main reason this is continuously happening, is that many of the disadvantaged children's parents choose not to participate in their child's future. They leave others to care for their children such as non-profit organizations who claim to have their children's best interest at hand. When it is only the round brown that they only seek to receive. Not saying all parents are like this, but there are some who don't care and really are happy to get rid of the children for the weekend to be served up on a platter to these vampires.


Not only are we looking at the parents, but why is pedophilia so prevalent in our society? Is it that the rich are keeping this process alive, by preying on poor children, who grow up in single parent households and are in search of positive role models? What are the symptoms that we should look for with this sickness of pedophilia? I've noticed that in order to treat a sickness, we must diagnose the problem.


Pedophilia is a problem that must be addressed in the Black communities like yesterday. This illness is destroying the fabric of our families and causing us to spiral into a state of homosexuality. I hear people claim that they are born gay, but the problem of homosexuality seems to stem from pedophilia. Not saying I'm anti-homosexual, I'm just trying to address some of our ails as a community of people who have been downtrodden by so many other contributing factors, including slavery, aids, drugs, lack of education and other issues.


First, a Gay Duke official tried to serve up his adopted son, who was five, to an undercover officer. Then the Penn State scandal exploded; another one leaked a few days later- former Boston Red Sox Manager sexually molested black boys.


With all that being said, Black man, it's time to stand up and be a father to your children, whether you want to or not, our survival depends on it. Now, some whites may say that all these racial issues are old and should stop, but I beg to differ and will say that the U.S.A was founded upon racial factors and will die upon it, which leads to my last and final point.


The United States of America, standing for out of many comes one, says to me that if we continue to look down upon Blacks and not help with their problems or have compassion to their issues, this will be the death of America as we know it.

November 16, 2011 (WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, November 17, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, will sponsor a briefing on Capitol Hill to explore the viewpoints of representatives from the Brennan Center for Justice, Center for American Progress, and the American Civil Liberties Union. The briefing is entitled: “Islamist Radicalization: Myth or Reality?”



In recent months, an active national debate concerning the existence of “violent Islamist radicalization” within the United States and among U.S. citizens has been revived. Recent media reports have detailed partnerships between the New York City Police Department and the Central Intelligence Agency. Federal funds have been used to train local police officers in clandestine intelligence-gathering practices deployed in predominantly Muslim-American neighborhoods, raising serious questions about the constitutionality, practicality, and effectiveness of these surveillance tactics. Additionally, private funding sources have supported entities that encourage the belief in a domestic threat of Islamist radicalization within the United States . Unfortunately, this incendiary atmosphere has failed to provide a forum for rational, fact-based discussion of the possible extent of radicalization and potential methods to address it. This forum will lay the foundation for such a discussion.

Austin's Turner-Roberts Recreation Center to Remain Closed Indefinitely

With the closing of the Turner-Roberts Recreation Center in Austin, completely leaves a void in the neighborhood it was built to accommodate. In 2008, the long awaited Colony Park Recreation Center, now named for Dorothy Turner and Velma Roberts, who long fought for this parks and recreation project to be established in this neighborhood, within the city of Austin.Turner and Roberts, who founded the Black Citizen's Task Force, were avid civil rights activist for the voiceless in East Austin.

In September of 2011, the community found out that the recreation center was scheduled for closing to repair construction errors that had been created from a lack of oversight on behalf of the Parks And Recreation Department.

In April 2011, MLAW Consultants and Engineers were hired to do a preliminary report of findings. Also a revised copy was sent out in May 2011, to which it was stated that "Construction errors appeared to have contributed to the majority of the distress and non-performance of the foundation and some of the concrete masonry unit walls." It was also mentioned that there were three leaks found under the gymnasium floor, that may have had an impact on the floor shifting. There were drainage issues near the back and sides of the building from the air conditioning and also from rain storms that would accumulate.

Journeyman Construction, who was the general contractor on the project, wasn't available for comment. We also tried contacting Victoria Air Conditioning and Phoenix Irrigation who were also unavailable for comment. Journeyman Construction received nearly Four million dollars for this project.

With the closing of this much needed rec center and the sudden explosion of gang activity, creates a unique situation for the residents of Colony Park, Lakeside, Sendero Hills, and LBJ neighborhoods.

All interested parties should attend the meeting below and call for some action to be taken within the Parks and Recreation Department for the lack of oversight when it comes to East Austin. Now is the time residents let city officials know, that this will no longer be tolerated as business as usual on the east side.

Austin : Charter Revision Committee Seeks Public Input

The 2012 City of Austin Charter Revision Committee has established several ways to engage the community as it considers possible charter recommendations including geographic representation through districting, term limits and the authority for City Council to make certain appointments.

Dallas Complete Streets to meet with citizens regarding Ledbetter/Camp Wisdom Corridor

Dear Citizen,




If you haven’t received an e-mail or information on this already, we would like to introduce the Dallas Complete Streets Initiative the City is working on currently. This initiative will develop a new approach to designing your streets that are “complete” in accommodating all users, children, old, physically disabled, bicyclists, and transit users in a safe and efficient manner, while complimenting more transportation choices like cars, bikes, train, buses, streetcar, etc. The key focus of this new approach will be about what neighborhoods want to see on their streets. The City of Dallas will host a series of workshops and open houses (see attached flyer for details) to inform the public about the Complete Streets Initiative and seek input on how streets can better serve the needs of the community. Each open house and workshop will feature a different pilot street project and give residents the opportunity to learn about and provide input on the Complete Streets Initiative and share ideas for future improvements.



The workshop for your area is scheduled on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at UNT-Dallas, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.(see attached flyer for details). This workshop will be looking at the Lancaster Road (Kiest to Ledbetter ) and Camp Wisdom Rd.(I35 to Bonnie View Rd.) to address some of the pedestrian and bicycle safety issues and design the street for future infrastructure improvements per community input and recommendations.

The City recognizes you as active leaders of your community and requests your involvement in spreading the word about these upcoming public events and informing your neighborhoods about the Dallas Complete Streets Initiative.

This afternoon, a group of Occupy Dallas demonstrators marched from City Hall to a Chase Bank located at Main and Akard.  Once there, the demonstrators blocked the entrance ways to the bank, thus not allowing patrons to utilize the bank.  Representatives with Chase Bank asked the demonstrators to leave the property in the presence of Dallas Police Officers.  The demonstrators were told they would not be arrested if they complied with the criminal trespass warning and vacated the property; however, numerous demonstrators refused to leave.  As a result, 23 individuals were subsequently arrested for Criminal Trespass.  One police officer received minor injuries to his leg during the incident.

            Fort Hood, Texas, has played a highly  prominent role in the Global War on Terror,                deploying more members of the Armed Force into overseas theaters of combat 

             since September 11, 2001.

  

            On November 5,  2009, 13 Americans – 12 service members and one civilian employee 

            of DoD  – were killed and 32 were wounded  in an attack at the military base at

            Fort Hood. This tragedy was the deadliest terrorist attack within the United States

            since September 11, 2001.  

            In the wake of the brutal September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States, 

            Federal Government set a historicalprecedent when  it awarded the victims of those                attacks who were members of the Armed Forces with the Purple Heart medal

            and the victims of those attacks who were civilian employees of the Department 

            of Defense with the Secretary of DefenseMedal for the Defense of Freedom.

Open Letter regarding Mortgage Fraud, Foreclosures, and Crime

My name is Brandon P. Reed, a former loan processor and Branch Manager of a Mortgage Company in the Dallas area. Mortgage Fraud is a serious subject that must be addressed in our nation. I was trained in the mortgage business around several characters who are now in FCI for different real estate schemes.

Mortgage Fraud and other real estate fraud undermine the security of the United States of America and have the possibility to collapse our economic system as the rate of foreclosures from these properties continue to rise. At the bottom of the foreclosure ladder is a perfectly livable house that will now become vandalized for the copper and any other metal worth something, high grass, and sometimes used for illegal drug related activities and other crimes against persons.

So in a sense, these properties then become public nuisances creating an unstable environment in the communities in which these properties are located. Now the taxpayers are on the line to keep the grass and weeds cut and to make  sure that these properties are always properly secured. Open and vacant and sub-standard structures are very much prevalent in Dallas.

Every month bank owned foreclosures are tagged by code compliance because of some banks inability to properly manage all of its assets. I want to help combat mortgage fraud and other frauds from the onset. Together, we can keep our neighborhoods strong. In the future we will publish articles to help regular citizens spot Mortgage Fraud and help prevent crime.
