On July 3rd, 2011 at about 8:24 p.m. the victim, Jin Ha, and her husband had just closed their business, Quick Check Grocery #2, located at 3034 E. Illinois Ave, and about to enter their vehicle when they were approached by two black males in their mid 20’s. One suspect held a weapon to Jin Ha and demanded her property. The victim refused to release her property, at which point the suspect shot her once. Both suspects fled with her property.
Witnesses saw both suspects enter an awaiting vehicle driven by a third suspect who was also described as a black male. The suspect vehicle is described as a tan/gold color Chevrolet possibly a Caprice.
Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10, 000 dollar reward for any information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects in this offense.
