How ironic on the morning after the NBA met in Dallas to try and consort on a collective bargaining agreement, and a man dam near killed his passenger directly in front of the American Airlines Center in Dallas, this morning. Less than two weeks ago at the AAC, several Mavericks players were busted throwing up gang signs and the NBA, Dallas Mavericks, and players are yet to address their actions. So in the spirit of warning, a man was intoxicated and ran into a pole, causing his passenger in the back seat who appeared not to be wearing a seat belt, to hit her eye on the back of the front seat, engendering a severe cut to her left eye.
The female passenger needed 21 stitches, total, above and under her eye. Rodrigo Vera, 25, has been charged with Intoxication Assault and booked into the Lew Sterrett Justice Center.
This PSA is two fold.
1) Don't drink and drive. Should be at home @ 3:11 a.m.(IMO)
