Dallas First 48 | Homicide investigation on Presidio in South Oak Cliff.5/1/11

At 4:47 p.m., a 911 call went out for a shooting in the 1400 block of Presidio in South Oak Cliff. We have just confirmed with Dallas Fire-Rescue that they are treating victim for gun shot wounds.THIS IS DEVELOPING. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES.

9:50 A.M. UPDATE---

 We have confirmed through Dallas Police , that the deceased has been identified as Thirty-one year old, Lanelle Groves of Dallas. Report states that Mr. Groves and the suspect were in Mr. Groves backyard at 1402 Presidio when suspect pulled out handgun and shot Mr. Groves.

 On 3-24-11 Mr. Groves was arrested for Assault.Link here
