In the recent N.B.A Finals, several Mavericks players were spotted throwing up gang signs and one even mentioning, " I'm a REAL CRIP" on National T.V.
Since then, we have not been able to get a response from anyone but Mark Cuban, who stated that the player was throwing up "four fingers" signifying the start of the fourth quarter.
Dear Mark, I grew up in the hood on Ledbetter and Bonnie View and I'm probably light years ahead oF you in my knowledge of the gang culture. Please don't ever insult my intelligence.
The news even published stories about Stevenson being arrested for public intoxication, he wasn't even driving, BUT THIS IS HEADLINE NEWS. Is that worse than players claiming gangs on national t.v.?
It may not matter to you, but ask those who are being terrorized by gang members with rapes, robberies, homicides and other crimes against persons in the less fortunate neighborhoods in America.
The town may be happy now, but PERCEPTION is everything and PERCEPTION can make a team lose money also. Wait until the word gets out in Dallas on this one!
