Even though it seems to be interesting news, The Daily Phalanx really could care less about the Arthur and Archie issue. For those who are not familiar, in early January, Dallas police were called to Mayor Caraway's Cedar Crest home that he shares along with his wife, State Rep. Barbara Mallory-Caraway.
This would have been a non-story until he made an insinuation that the argument was between two mysterious individuals named Arthur and Archie. Shortly after announcing this, Caraway recanted and admitted during a council meeting that the incident was between he and his wife.
After filing suit against the city of Dallas and Attorney General Greg Abbott to block the release of the audio/video, today a judge denied Caraway's request for an extension. There were six requests for the information, with which one of our writers were one of the six.
Since there will be only six people who get this out of 1.2 million, The Daily Phalanx will not write or say anything else in regards to this matter. No matter the results, everyone deserves forgiveness and besides, there is absolutely too much in southern Dallas that deserve our writers attention at this point; including the LACK OF JOBS, POOR EDUCATION, LACK OF RETAIL DEVELOPMENT, HIGH CRIME , should I go on?
