Dallas Police Robbery Detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying two suspects caught on surveillance video viciously attacking a female victim before dragging her across the parking lot and stealing her purse. This offense took place on March 29, 2011 at 9:30 PM at 1894 Royal Lane.
In the video the suspects are seen driving up to the offense location in what is believed to be a maroon Nissan Ultima or Maxima. They park and exit the vehicle. The female suspect is seen returning to the vehicle to retrieve a tire jack. The video then shows the arriving to go to work. She can be seen walking around to the passenger side of her vehicle to get items out of the backseat. The male suspect approaches her and demands her property as he placed a knife to her side. The female suspect walks up and removes a lap top from the trunk of the vehicle. As the female suspect runs back to the suspect vehicle, the male suspect drags the victim across the parking lot in an attempt to remove her purse. The suspects eventually gain control of the property and flee in the suspect vehicle.
The suspects are described as a Latin male in his late teens to early 20's. He is 5'6" and thin. The female is also in her late teens to early 20's and is short and stocky. She is said to be around 5'3". There was a third suspect acting as the driver of the suspect vehicle but that person is unidentifiable.
