DEVELOPING DALLAS : Body found in Sargeant Park deceased with severe head trauma. 4/17/11

 On April 17, 2011, an unidentified black man was found deceased in Sargent Park located in the 2800 block of Sargent Road by children who were playing in the park around 4 p.m. On the police report, the complainant is listed as being age forty-five years old. We have submitted a request for information, so as soon as we hear something back, we will update this post. Seems odd, that the D.P.D finds a body deceased in a public park and this receives no LAME STREAM MEDIA coverage. I know this man has family somewhere in Dallas. Check on your folks people.

UPDATE : Complainant has been identified as 61 year old Lloyd Carreathers , a recently retired DART employee.

Lloyd Carreathers is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, one sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Saturday in his hometown of Clarksville in northeast Texas.
