At approximately 11:11 p.m., a 911 call was placed for a shooting in the 9900 Blk of Adleta. Not sure which set of apartments it is but we have verified through Dallas Fire-Rescue, that a victim was being treated for gunshot wounds. This is developing. This is a HIGH CRIME AREA. Several homicides have occurred over in Beacon Hill, Sage Pointe and the others over the years.
UPDATE : Stephen Estill, 17, of Mesquite was allegedly confronted by Charles Chandler, 19, who demanded money. In fear of his life, Estill then turned around to run, suspect then fired at Estill causing serious bodily injury. After a description was given of Chandler, he was caught a short time later and arrested and only charged with Aggravated Robbery. Check back we will have mugshot!4/12/11 5:17 P.M.
UPDATE :CHANDLER IS NOW CHARGED WITH TWO AGGRAVATED ROBBERIES
